KSM-66 ashwagandha root extract is a precise-sounding name with one missing piece: the amount.
KSM-66 is a branded ashwagandha extract, and root extract says which part of the plant it comes from. That is more specific than saying ashwagandha alone, and branded extracts are the ones usually used in the published trials.
Trials generally use doses in the hundreds of milligrams a day.
The page does not state the amount per gummy, so you cannot compare to those trials. Ashwagandha is also flagged for possible interactions with thyroid, blood pressure and sedative medicines, so tell your doctor or pharmacist if you take any. Our post on ashwagandha and cortisol covers the research.
